How to take it out

- Keep your policy digitally, so you always have it at hand.
Had an accident?
Report it to your insurer as soon as possible, preferably with an accident report form. Take photos and note any witnesses. If someone is injured, always call 112.
Frequently asked questions
Can I insure any e-step?
Only e-steps with an RDW approval and licence plate. Insurers need that licence plate.
Do I get a discount for claim-free riding?
Yes, with most insurers, including ANWB. You can often carry over claim-free years from a previous moped.
Am I insured abroad?
WA cover applies in most EU countries. Do check the local rules, see taking your e-step abroad.
Who pays the premium for a company step?
If the step stays your employer's, the policy is usually in the company's name. Business insurance is possible through Loxxo.
