This privacy statement provides information about the processing of personal data by Go Tulip B.V and only pertains to the use of personal data of our customers and visitors to the website

How do we collect personal data?

We receive the personal data directly from you, such as when you visit our website, when you place an order, create an account or when you contact or wish to contact our customer service.

Of course we also use third party services. These third parties then act on behalf of Go Tulip B.V. This privacy statement also applies to the data collected via these third parties when they act as processors for us. We are not responsible for the collection of data that does not take place on our behalf. In this regard, we refer you to the privacy policy of these third parties.

What personal data do we collect?

If you place an order, we need certain personal data to process the order, deliver your order and keep you informed of the progress of the order. For this we collect your name, 

If you contact our customer service, your personal data may also be noted, depending on your question. If you wish us to contact you, you can fill in the contact form on the website. For this we ask for your name, e-mail address so that we can actually make that contact. Of course we do not store this data longer than necessary.

If you have given permission for this, for example when placing your order, we will of course be happy to keep you informed of special offers. This will mainly be done by e-mail. If you no longer appreciate this, you can of course unsubscribe at any time.

If you respond to a promotion or competition, we ask for your name, address and e-mail address. We use this information to carry out the promotion, to announce the prize winner(s), and to measure the response to our marketing campaigns.

For what purposes do we collect your personal data?

We use your obtained personal data in the first instance to implement the agreement that is concluded as soon as you place an order with us. In order to do that, we obviously need your name, delivery and/or billing address and payment details. We will keep you informed of the progress of the order via your e-mail address. That's so easy!

We have facilitated the use of an account for your convenience. If you wish to make use of this, we will record the data as already shown above.

In addition, we use your personal data to enter into, maintain and improve the contractual relationship with our (potential) customers, to improve the services and products and, if necessary, to apply and implement legal obligations.

Your personal data will not be used for purposes other than those described above.

With whom do we share your personal data?

We will not sell your personal data to third parties. Your data will only be provided to third parties that are involved in processing your order. In that context, we mainly work with PostNL, which takes care of the delivery of your order. PostNL receives your name and delivery address from us so that your order is delivered to the correct address.

How is your data secured?

We appreciate the trust you place in us and we will therefore handle your data with the utmost care. We therefore take the protection of personal data very seriously and take appropriate physical, administrative, organizational and technical measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification.

How long do we keep your data?

We do not store your data longer than necessary for the conclusion and implementation of the agreements. Your personal data will only be processed as long as you are active as a buyer. If you have not logged in for 7 years, we will delete your data. In addition, you can request the deletion of your account and your data at any time, unless retention is necessary under applicable law. For example, we have to keep certain data for at least 7 years for the tax authorities.

What rights do you have?

You must ensure that we have the correct personal data. Via the e-mail address you can object in writing to the use of certain data by Go Tulip B.V, or request access to, restriction of, correction of, deletion and/or transfer of your (personal) data. Any corrections communicated by you will be processed upon written request. We will respond to your request as quickly as possible, but within four weeks.
